Creative Direction & Asset Development: 2019 PAEA Conference
Each year, the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) hosts an annual conference, workshops, and leadership trainings. As creative director and lead of Communications, I branded the events and led the development of the digital and print assets —- ensuring the brand was consistent across all mediums. This is one example, of many, I led the creative direction and branding for. For this conference, I also developed the majority of the assets including the onsite guide, social media posts, awards video, awards booklet, swag, exhibitor prospectus, and signage. I provided art direction to the web developer who built the full conference website.

Design elements
Colors: Energizing and attention-grabbing to set the tone for a highly engaging atmosphere yet saturated and rich to be able to take on an academic tone in publications.
Design elements: DC’19 as a strong, punchy brand phrase. A circle blending into an octagon to visually depict transformation with iconic design elements which could be used in many complementary ways.
Branded Social Media Series
When marketing for conferences and events, it is important to brand social media posts to establish visual consistency for the audience that the posts are all part of the same series.
Exhibitor Prospectus
The exhibitor prospectus is a marketing tool sent to prospective exhibitors. To be able to understand the company, the mission of the conference, and historical attendance, infographics are a good tool to use in this publication to communicate punchy data.
Onsite Signage
Onsite signage is always one of the most challenging tasks due to the wide range of needs, varying installation details, and maintaining accuracy as the conference details inevitably change. For this conference, here are some of the signage types we developed:
Digital background signage
Standing and banner pull-up signage
Neon-lit counter builtins
Wooden panel clings
Foam board signage
Floor clings
